I was walking the dogs this morning, and ran across this car up the street.. Minnesota license plate ‘1RQ’.. I don’t know anything that this could mean besides ‘IRQ’.. a rather geeky concept.. what d’ya think? Is there another meaning? Inquiring minds and all!
I think I found a fellow geek..

Possibly! Or another possibility is a cop.
“Often heard, as: “Can I get an RQ on …” Means: Registration Query. The deputy is asking the dispatcher to look up information about a car with Tennessee tags, or with nearby-state (MS, AR) tags as specified by the deputy. An RQ request is followed by the car’s license plate.”
Or, it could be a jumbled marking for the Predator drone, which is RQ 1 Predator…
Most likely it is the persons initials, with a “1” in front, because the other was taken.

RQ – hmmm, could be – with the radar detector I somehow doubt that it is a cop. ;) You never know though!
I think the guess on a person’s initials is probably 100% accurate! Way to crush my dreams.. I can always hope that there is indeed a true geek in the neighborhood though… ;)
